Where It Started

A small workshop. A stack of rejected materials. A question that wouldn't go away: What if hands could be more?

We didn't start with a glove. We started with a contact point. The one inch where hand meets world. Everything else — the back of the hand, the wrist closure, the fit — came after.

Because if that one inch isn't trustworthy, nothing else matters.


The Material Hunt

We tested hundreds of materials.

Some were too thick. You couldn't feel the trigger. Some were too thin. They didn't protect. Some felt great but didn't work on screens. Some worked on screens but felt like plastic.

We rejected them all.

Not because they were bad. Because they weren't right.

We kept going. Years of testing. Years of rejecting. Years of asking: What does a hand actually need?


The First Principles Approach

We didn't start with "what do gloves do?"

We started with "what do hands want?"

Hands want to feel. Hands want to grip. Hands want to move freely. Hands want to trust.

Everything we built came from those four things.

Not from market research. Not from competitor analysis. From hands.


The Kickstarter Leap

We didn't know if anyone else cared about the one inch between hand and world.

We launched anyway.

The first campaign funded at 594%. The second at 3154%. Backers from everywhere told us: this matters. Keep going.

They didn't just buy gloves. They bought into the idea that hands deserve better.


What We Learned

From users: "I forgot I was wearing it." That became our only measure.

From testing: The best feedback isn't what people say. It's what they don't say. When they stop talking about the glove and start talking about what they're doing — we know we've succeeded.

From failure: Every rejected material taught us something. Every failed prototype made the next one better.


What's Next

We're not done. We'll never be done.
